Mr PK

Patrick K. Smith̶—artistically known as PK/”Piqué” is originally from from Little Rock, AR. He received a B.A. in Music from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. In 2005, PK continued his dance training upon  joining the second performance company of Dallas Black Dance Theater—then, called DBDT II. In 2011 he relocated to Georgia to become a founding member of Atlanta Dance Connection; later serving as rehearsal assistant and company Horton instructor. In 2016, PK became the dance director for Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, GA. In 2018, he attended Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s Horton Pedagogy Workshop for Teachers under the leadership and instruction of Ms. Ana Marie Forsythe. Currently, PK teaches and performs throughout Atlanta.
