Junior Theater Festival (JTF)
Imagine performing alongside thousands of young musical theatre performers who love the stage as much as you do.
Every January, over 6,000 students from around the world gather in Atlanta for the Junior Theater Festival — one of the largest and most exciting celebrations of youth musical theatre anywhere in the world. Students perform for Broadway professionals, participate in inspiring workshops, watch exclusive performances, meet industry experts, and create memories and friendships that last a lifetime.
In 2027, BAPA will proudly take Shrek to the Junior Theater Festival.
Representing BAPA at JTF is an incredible honour and one of the most exciting opportunities we offer. Places are limited and entry is by audition only. Students must have previous experience in our Musical Theatre Company and be actively enrolled in BAPA dance technique classes, as outstanding performers are built through outstanding training.
For many of our students, joining the JTF team becomes a goal they work towards for years. They grow in confidence, strengthen their performance skills, and become part of a dedicated company of performers who inspire one another to achieve their very best.

Auditions: August 14 & 21, Fridays 5:30–7:00pm
Classes: Fridays 5:30–7:00pm (starting August 14)
Registration Fee: $85 (due July 15)
Festival Entry Fee: $350 (due September 15)
Performance: January 15–17, 2027 at Cobb Galleria Centre, Atlanta, GA
