Miss Sara is so excited to be in her second year on staff at the British Academy of Performing Arts, where she teaches ballet, tap, musical theatre and jazz. A lifelong lover of the arts, Sara began dancing at the age of eight and quickly discovered her passion for performing. By age 14, she was already coaching competitive cheerleading teams, setting the stage for a career built on creativity, leadership, and a deep love for sharing the arts with others.
Sara’s theatre credits include directing and choreographing Aladdin Jr. (2023–2024) and The Little Mermaid Jr. (2024–2025) with Joyful Noise Players, as well as choreographing and stage managing Annie Jr. and Fiddler on the Roof Jr.
Beyond teaching and choreography, Sara continues to expand her craft through professional intensives, including workshops with renowned artists Al Blackstone and Hillary-Marie Michael.
As a mother of eight and a homeschool teacher for over 25 years, Sara brings patience, warmth, and an extraordinary ability to connect with children of all ages. She especially loves choreographing musical theatre numbers and believes in using dance to inspire imagination, confidence, and joy in every student.
