The Musical Theatre Program

The Musical Theatre Program is an exciting and fun choice for any performer, we ask that all students have a passion for one of the following areas, they will receive training in all three!
Acting
Vocal Training
Dance
Once you join us in Musical Theatre Company, you will feel that you are part of a family. We work in a very holistic fashion all students are equally valued, all performers will have an opportunity to SHINE! We aim to raise students skills levels, confidence, improve their ability to work as part of a team, whilst all the time they are having fun!

Our Company has classes on Monday and Saturday.

We have an experienced team of teachers that coordinate to offer students expert tuition:

Miss Marsha - Artistic Director teaching, Acting, Musical Theatre, Voice, and Stage Direction.

Miss Jennifer - teaching Acting, Musical Theatre, Braodway dance including Jazz and Tap and Singing

Miss Sherri - Master Voice Coach.

Miss Katie - teaching dance.

The Musical Theatre Shows

The BAPA Musical Theatre Company performs three shows per season, a Festive Winter Musical, a Spring Show, at the end of our seasons in the annual BAPA Recital.

We have performed a wide variety of shows including: Annie, Oz, The Little Princess, Beauty and the Beast, Snow Queen, Alice in Wonderland and many more.

Exciting Additional Options: Performers are invited to join Broadway Babes dance classes and improve their performing sills with Broadway jazz and tap!

2010 / 2011 Musical Theater Company Audition Dates.

Monday 2nd August 2010
4.00 - 5:00 younger performers (Elementary School)

5:00 - 6:00 older performers / 6:00 - 6:30 Solo Auditions

Saturday 7th August 2010
10.00 - 11:00 younger performers (Elementary School)

11:00 - 12:00 older performers / 12:00 - 12:30 Solo Auditions

Come and audition to be in our Musical Theater Company.
You need to come prepared to have fun and take part in our group auditions, we will expect all participants to sing, dance and act. Please note it is not necessary to have a prepared piece to audition. For those actors who do have audition pieces please make sure they are no longer than 2 minutes, and have all accompanying music on CD.

Please come wearing dance shoes, and in clothes that you can move easily in.

OPTIONAL SOLO AUDITION PIECES:
Acting solo audition pieces for the older students only.
Acting monologues - max length 2 mins
OR
Songs - max length 2 mins, music must be on CD or sing unaccompanied
