If you would like to specialize in acting for film and television then look no further, Mr Matthew Seiden can show you how! These classes will develop your acting skills for film, give you an introduction into the industry, how to audition, which agency... All the industry know-how...
Students will learn the mechanics of TV, film, and commercial acting whilst having a great time!
They learn how to overcome the fear and nervousness that comes with auditioning and performing, to become comfortable with the special requirements and techniques of acting for the camera.
Working on-camera strengthens their ability to move beyond "acting" to fully bring characters to life and to react truthfully in the moment. As they begin to apply their skills to actual scripts from TV, film, and commercials, they build a solid foundation that keeps young actors sharp and audition-ready.
Students develop the ability to handle any type of script, from cold reading, following through the rehearsal process to finally being filmed when they are performance ready! Mr Matthew will be encouraging them to add their unique style onto the text so that they can really 'own' the piece; making their performance truly stand out from the crowd!
All actors will have their work showcased three times each season, you will work towards a TV monologue or commercial that will be filmed and launched onto our BAPA website, available for agents, family and friends to view! Your STARS really do shine at BAPA!
